llvm-3.5-dev software package provides Modular compiler and toolchain technologies, libraries and headers, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install llvm-3.5-dev
llvm-3.5-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the llvm-3.5-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep llvm-3.5-dev *
You will get with llvm-3.5-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
